“If the image can cure the mere spread of the horrors it records, it would not have more road accidents in a long time.” Said by Yvan Audouard.
There are several myths and versions that explain the originality of an accident whatever the territory is, since some people are making the government responsible because of the infrastructure, others are accusing those who are using the road with no respect for traffic law. But hang on; maybe the problem has another source which a big majority is not paying attention to it!!
So, what is the factor that puts the life of a road user at risk without realizing it?
In the light of several meetings made in this context, the decision makers discussed many anomalies that have been leading to road accidents and which are costing a lot for the government as well as for human life in general. Specific factors were then puton the table, and surprisingly, the main one was the link between spare parts and road safety. A difficult link to establish but it is actually intimidating the life of Man.
Specifically, Morocco has recorded 150 million dirhams in the counterfeit market, a figure that threatens public health. Counterfeit spare parts have become poisonous for road users even though they are responsible for bad quality of spare parts they choose to buy.
What solutions that could be adopted to combat the counterfeiting of spare parts?
In order to deal with this issue, the Moroccan government and all the concerned administrations have created a label for spare parts called “Salamatouna” to distinguish genuine and authentic products from counterfeit ones. So who is truly responsible for road accidents then?
